Shiseido Has Absorbed Gurwitch

Shiseido Americas Corp. has "carried out an absorption-type merger" with Gurwitch Products, under which Gurwitch ceases to exist and its constituent brands, including RéVive and Laura Mercier, fall under the Shiseido America's umbrella.

Shiseido noted: "By merging Gurwitch into SAC and unifying the business management system, the company will aim to utilize management resources more effectively and thereby strengthen the brand management as well as enhance efficiency in marketing and operations."

The acquisition of the brands has boosted Shiseido's prestige beauty portfolio.
